A lustrous, pearlescent specimen of Ulexite, a hydrated Na-Ca borate, with the typical silky texture resulting from crystal fibers elongated on the c-axis. As with most specimens the ends are matrix influenced. This large example shows nicely all around. and is from a locality all but closed to collecting.
