Barite on Quartz

An aesthetic cluster of sharply-formed, blocky, gemmy pale-yellow Barite, with crystals to a huge 41 mm across, and with great luster, is perfectly perched on a plate of lustrous, clear Quartz points with minor iron staining. Remnants of corroded Stibnite are associated with a small cluster of more strongly iron stained Barite. The main cluster of Barite is pristine. From a small lot of older material I recently acquired, you can't find specimens of this size and quality on the market anymore. This is an excellent, top-notch and showy Barite specimen.
