Barite on Quartz

A cute cluster of sharply-formed, blocky, gemmy crystals of light-honey-colored Barite, to 28 x 19 mm, with great luster, is perfectly perched on a plate of lustrous, clear Quartz points. The base of one of the Barites is chipped on the back, and one of the crystals may have a slight rub which the camera sees, but is not obvious even with a 10x loupe. From a small lot of older material I recently acquired, this is a showy Barite specimen.
