Lustrous green crystals of Diopside to 6 mm coat a fibrous light-green matrix. An olive-green Epidote to 8 mm long rises above the Diopside. This is a classic Alpine specimen, from an obscure California locality, collected by well-known field collector Chris Lehmann. It is a very showy specimen with no damage.
