Galena (spinel twin) with Sphalerite
Amax Buick Mine, Viburnum Trend District, Bixby, Iron County, Missouri, USA
$125
Miniature
35 x 32 x 24 mm overall
An excellent, very aesthetic cluster of sharp, lustrous, lead-gray, spinel-twinned Galena crystals, measuring up to 32 x 20 x 9 mm. These large crystals and twinned habit are classic for a find made in the Buick Mine in the 1990s. This is an excellent specimen is complete-all-around and partly coated on one side with small, lustrous-black Sphalerite crystals. These are seldomly available, and this is a very fine example with no damage.
