Fluorite with Celestite
Clay Center, Ottawa County, Ohio, USA
Sold
Miniature
42 x 37 x 30 mm overall
A large, lustrous, near-perfect cube of Fluorite measuring 33 x 30 x 25 mm, with the distinctive cream-soda color and well-defined zoning this locality is known for. Blades of lustrous, white Barite to 29 x 15 mm, somewhat raggedly terminated are interown at the base of the Fluorite. The Fluorite has excellent clarity around it edge, is translucent at its core, and is strongly fluorescent and phosphorescent under both SW and LW UV light. It is an excellent specimen.
