Fluorite
Weardale County, Durham, North Pennines, England
Sold
Miniature
33 x 30 x 24 mm overall
Very sharp, gemmy, transparent, penetration-twinned cubes of Fluorite to 24 x 20 mm, with bluish-green cores and violet edges. The zoning is very sharp. These Fluorites are strongly fluorescent. Very difficult to photograph. Although it is incomplete on the reverse and has some marginal damage, it is quite unusual for the Weardale district.
