This is an aesthetic, 3-dimensional specimen of classic Serifos Island prase Quartz. Several large (up to 5.0 cm) green prase Quartz crystals with excellent translucency and luster are accented by several smaller crystals. As is typical for Prase Quartz from Serifos, the crystals are elongated and do not show individual rhombohedral faces at the ends. Instead, the ends look like rounded bundles of many small crystals. I can find no damage. This is of top quality and displays well! My source tells me the zone is mined out, so specimens of this quality will not be around for long.
