This is a carved and lacquered dendritic siltstone found in the mountains of China, known as "Chinese Painting Stone" or "Chinese Picture Jasper". The patterns and colors are naturally embedded in the rock during their formation. This striking piece displays well from both sides and includes a custom-made wooden base. One of the few polished pieces we sell, because they are just so beautiful. Shipping weight of 4 pounds.
