Copper in Gypsum

Very lustrous clear Gypsum is heavily included with dendritic native Copper. Unlike many of these specimens which enclose fine copper wires, this specimen has coarser crystallized copper. Also, the edges are contacted and not cleaved. These Copper-included Gypsum specimens are very old material and almost never seen for sale anymore. This is a fine example from this historic location. No damage.
