Copper ( spinel twin )
Ray Mine, Ray District, near Kearney, Dripping Springs Mts., Pinal County, Arizona, USA
$320
Miniature
34 x 21 x 16 mm overall
with a 34 x 12 x 7 mm spinel twin
This large, sharp, spinel-twin of native Copper is accented by a cluster of small Copper crystals at its base. The twin is classic in shape, with natural, copper patina, and it looks good from all sides. Collected in February 1991 from the Pearl Handle pit by a shift boss at the Ray Mine. An excellent specimen, in perfect condition, this would make an outstanding competition toenail.
Specimen # RG0608
