Brochantite and Calcite
Southwest Mine, Warren District, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
$375
Large Cabinet
124 x 109 x 35 mm overall
This impressive, very rich, Bisbee specimen is covered with forest-green sprays of Brochantite accented with clear crystals of Calcite to 6 mm. It is quite large, and thus a fairly significant piece. Most of these Bisbee specimens don't have a specific locality, but this definitely came from the Southwest Mine. It was self-collected in February 1993 by Harold Urish, and I purchased it shortly thereafter. It is in excellent condition.
