A sharp crystal of medium- to dark-smoky Quartz to 40 x 29 x 24 mm is accented with a few lustrous, cream-colored crystals of Albite. A second sidecar Quartz is also present. The Quartzes have complex terminations. The bottom of the specimen is completely recrystallized. This nice plate is from a miarolitic cavity found in a remote area of the Sawtooth Wilderness, collected in 1991 by Chris Lehmann. In perfect condition.
