Serandite
Poudrette Quarry, Mt. Saint-Hilaire, Rouville County, Quebec, Canada
$185
Miniature
32 x 22 x 14 mm overall
with 32 x 16 x 14 mm Serandite
This lustrous, salmon-colored, doubly-terminated Serandite crystal measures a large 32 x 16 x 14 mm in size. It is nicely accented by a lustrous white Natrolite crystal to 11 x 4 mm. From the world famous Mt. Saint-Hilaire alkali massif, this is old, classic material, seldom seen in such quality. I purchased it in the early 1990s for my personal collection from Ed Swoboda who held it back for nearly 20 years. No damage.
