Epidote (gemmy!)

Lustrous, gemmy, transparent olive-green, terminated crystal of Epidote to 10 mm, likely from a small prospect in Minas Gerais, Brazil where Ed Swoboda spent years prospecting. In excellent condition and of gem quality (the photos don't capture the geminess), this is a nice thumbnail with Ed Swoboda's original mounting and label. It was held back by Ed for nearly 20 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s.
