Stoneham area, Weld County, Colorado, USA
$45
Thumbnail
27 x 21 x 9 mm overall
A pair of wide, flat, beveled, blue Barite crystals from Stoneham, measuring up to 27 x 15 x 9 mm. These Barites are translucent, lustrous, flattened, prismatic orthorhombic crystals. Ed Swoboda picked this piece in the 1960s and held it for over 30 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s. In great condition, this is a nice thumbnail with Ed Swoboda's original thumbnail mounting and label.
