A superb, brilliantly-lustrous, unusually well-formed crystal of the rare nickel species Skutterudite. The quality of the terminations and form are exceptional, and it is large for the species at 30 mm. It was held back by Ed Swoboda for nearly 20 years, when I purchased it in the early 1990s. Skutterudite crystals don't get any better than this. It is only contacted where removed; otherwise no damage.
