25 x 17 x 16 mm overall
This very NICE terminated bi-colored Elbaite tourmaline crystal from the Himalaya Mine was hand dug by Ed Swoboda in the 1970's. The tourmaline, measuring 23 x 17 x 16 mm, has a translucent pink base which grades to gemmy pink, and has a sharply terminated green cap. The termination is chipped on one side, and the crystal has a smaller tourmaline attached to its side. Some of the original pocket clay liberally coats the termination. Weighs 11.4 grams.
