A large pale-yellow garnet, measuring 28 x 25 x 24 mm, perched on a small piece of matrix, is accented by up to 6 mm yellow Vesuvianite crystals. There is just one rubbed corner on the garnet, otherwise it is perfect. This is an ex. Robert M. Eaton (1918-2002; Rochester, NY) collection; ex. Wards Natural Science Establishm't specimen (with label).
