Galena with Quartz and Sphalerite

40 x 40 x 25 mm overall

A superb, lustrous, mirror-bright, somewhat skeletal, Galena crystal to 21 mm is perched on a matrix of green Clinochlore. Lustrous black Sphalerite to 7 mm, clear Quartz points to 5 mm, and brassy Chalcopyrite provide a nice accent. Several smaller Galena are also present. The Galenas are melted looking with rounded edges from dissolution and re-growth during the final crystallization stages. This is a perfect miniature and the quality is superb!
