Galena on Quartz

What an incredible, sharp, fully-formed gray crystal of Galena measuring 27 x 20 mm, perfectly perched atop a green matrix covered with clear Quartz points to 5 mm. The Galena has superb form, with textbook octahedral modified corners, and is very lightly sprinkled with Chalcopyrite. A dark, lustrous, 4 mm Sphalerite crystal accents the base of the Galena. It displays perfectly from all sides, with the only point of attachment at the narrow base of the matrix. This is a very aesthetic, high quality specimen!
