Galena

with up to a 17 mm Galena

Flattened, sharp cubic crystals of Galena, with a greyish coating, are perched on a matrix of small Quartz points. The largest Galena measures 17 x 16 x 10 mm. These were found in 2009 from a small prospect in Jiangxi Prefecture, and I bought the two best specimens found. With only trivial chipping along some edges, this is a very attractive specimen.
